  • Students sort out buttons and look at different options in the sunroom while everyone arrives (to 2:45)
  • Brainstorming food topics: (2:45 to 3:30)
    • Favorite snacks – ice cream, cake, cupcakes – what goes into them?
    • Can we figure out all the ingredients in a cookie, cake, ice cream, chocolate

Sugar – how is it made

Check out different sugars
  • Smell, color, texture, name, taste?, why different?


Get into groups (3 groups)
  • See if you can figure out how to make something to do with sugar with a moving model…
